Navigating the Differences and Using the Skills of Blog Writing in UX Writing

In this session, attendees will learn about the key differences between UX writing and blog writing and how to approach UX writing with purpose and intention.

Attendees will explore the challenges specific to UX writing and how they differ from those in blog writing. The session will also cover how to solve the issues and how to use the skills of a blog writer and put them to good use for UX writing.

The session will conclude with

• A series of practical tips attendees can apply they’ve learned to their own work
• Documenting the research (UX re-writing and developing content from inception) in google sheets and using the text in Figma for better understanding.
• Attendees will see first-hand examples of UX writing in action through images from a Shopify app (based on Shopify Polaris) the speaker works for.
